Aspous bay
Gyrismata beach is located on the north-eastern coast of the island, near Chora tis Skyros. Despite its proximity to the capital, it is less popular than nearby Molos and Magazia. The beach is sandy and long, so you will definitely find more tranquility here. Sunbeds and umbrellas are only provided by a beach restaurant at the end of Gyrismata where the beach road ends.
There are no other facilities on this beach, but behind it there are two more tavernas, as well as scattered hotels and villas. The seabed is relatively deep and on stormy days the sea is rough, with large waves breaking on the shore.
The center of Chora tis Skyros is 5 km away, with various shops, restaurants and cafes, but the nearest bakery is in Molos. Near Gyrismata you can visit the rocky area of Puria and the emblematic church of Agios Nikolaos.
